Product Description

        Sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is a new type of high voltage circuit breaker using SF6 gas as insulation medium and arc extinguishing medium. The pure SF6 gas is colorless, non-olfactory, non-flammable and non-toxic inert gas. It has good insulation and arc extinguishing performance. Sulphur hexafluoride circuit breakers use high pressure SF6 gases, forming high pressure airflow between the vents and contacts in the arc extinguishing chamber to blow out the arc, the pressure of SF6 gases blowing arc up to 1-1.5 MPa. Sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is small in size, has high insulation strength, good arc extinguishing performance, long maintenance period and can form a closed combination appliance.
       Sulfur hexafluoride circuit breaker is a circuit breaker which uses sulphur hexafluoride(SF6) gas as an arc extinguishing medium and insulation medium. SF6 circuit breaker. The use of sulphur hexafluoride as an arc extinguishing medium in circuit breakers began in the early 1950s. Because of the excellent properties of this gas, the single breaker is significantly higher in voltage and current parameters than the compressed air circuit breaker and the low-fuel circuit breaker, and does not require high pressure and a considerable number of serial breaks. In the 1960s and 1970s, SF6 circuit breakers were widely used in ultra-high voltage power systems. In the early 1980s, 363KV single fault, 550 kV double fault and rated open current of 80, 100 kA SF6 circuit breaker have been developed
