Product Description

Introducing the (H)GWBEB type outdoor high-voltage isolation switch—an essential component in modern electrical systems. Renowned as an isolation disconnect switch, it is specially engineered for implementation on high voltage power transmission and distribution lines with ratings of 10, 12, 15, and 24 kV. Its primary function is the seamless opening and closing of single-phase or three-phase circuits in the presence of voltage, although it does not handle load currents.

This precise switch is crafted for individual phase operation within three-phase line systems, distinguished by its straightforward design, economic feasibility, and user-friendly operation. It offers an array of rated current capacities: 200, 400, 600, 800, 1000, and 1250 amperes, accommodating diverse application needs. The switch's construction includes a robust base, durable post insulators, efficient conductive elements, and a reliable mechanical section. A sophisticated gate knife design ensures effective circuit operations, with each phase's gate knife comprising dual conductive blades. Exterior compression springs on both sides allow for adjustment, enabling the desired contact pressure. Operators utilize an insulated hook stick for simple opening and closing, complemented by a self-locking mechanism for enhanced safety and stability.

Working Environment:

Altitude requirements stipulate operation below 1000 meters;

Ambient temperature conditions: Maximum not exceeding +40°C; minimum not dropping below -30°C;

The switch withstands outdoor wind speeds up to 35 meters per second;

It is engineered to endure seismic intensities up to 8 degrees, ensuring uninterrupted performance in stable environments that are free from frequent severe vibrations.

The installation environment must be free from detrimental gases, chemical residues, salt mist, dust, dirt, and any other explosive or corrosive substances that could significantly impair the switch's insulation and conductive capabilities.

Installation, Use and Adjustment

Pre-installation work

  1. Remove all dust and debris from component parts, and thoroughly wipe the surface of the insulating porcelain bottle to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Carefully clean the wiring surface of the ground screw to maintain efficient operation.
  3. Enhance the longevity of rotating parts and contact areas by applying a protective layer of industrial Vaseline.
  4. Meticulously inspect the contact surface and adjust the compression spring's height to ensure the contact pressure is in accordance with Table II specifications.
  5. This switch is exclusively designed for hoisting use and is optimally used in conjunction with transformers on the line, providing seamless integration into the electrical grid.
  6. With a rated current range of 200-400 ampere hours, typically only three mounting holes are required. For currents ranging from 600-1000A, three mounting holes are utilized, ensuring secure and stable installation.

Annual maintenance should include a thorough inspection of the following switch components:
Diligently remove any accumulated dirt from the conductive parts, contact surfaces, and insulating porcelain bottle surfaces to ensure optimal functionality.

Inspect all components meticulously for any damage, paying particular attention to the insulating porcelain bottle for signs of cracks or other defects.

Confirm that the contact surface of the conductive parts maintains excellent condition to ensure reliable electrical connectivity.
