GW5 Series Outdoor Ac High Voltage Disconnect Switch
GW5 series outdoor disconnect switch is the most common equipments in electric system. Its main function is isolating high
voltage when the equipments or circuit do the maintenance, to ensure safety. GW5 cannot break the load current and short-
circuit current,need to use cooperatively with circuit breaker. When power cut firstly separate breaker then separate disconnec
switch; when power on firstly close disconnect switch, then close breaker.
GW5 series outdoor disconnect switch belong to double column V shape,horizontal open-type.Each single stage
composed of substrate,supporting insulator,outlet power,contact,etc. It fixed by two 50° included angle substrate,supporting
insulator and two supporting insulator make the angle to each other,and install the bearing of substrate,vertical with substrate.
Leading electric part separate instal on the two supporting insulator,make the 90° rotate together with the supporting insulator.
AMBIENT CONDITION 1. Temperature Range: The switch is designed to operate effectively within a temperature range of -5°C to +40°C.
2. Altitude: Suitable for installation in areas with altitudes not exceeding 1000 meters.
3. Humidity: Recommended for use in environments with relative humidity levels not exceeding 90%.
4. Pollution Level: Applicable for use in areas with a pollution level of up to class II.
Product feature
1. Voltage and Current Handling: Capable of handling 12kV and 24kV voltage systems, the FN7-12(24) series effectively interrupts load currents and manages short-circuit currents, ensuring system protection and operational safety.
2. Switch-Fuse Combination: The FN7-12R model offers enhanced protection by combining the load break switch with a fuse, providing an additional layer of safety in medium-voltage systems.
3. Customization Options: The operating mechanism can be customized to be side-mounted based on customer requirements, offering flexibility in installation and operation.
4. Routine Maintenance: Regular inspections should be conducted to ensure the proper functioning of the operating mechanism and the integrity of the switch components.
